85th Post

Yet another apologetic post where I must ask everyone to be patient and that I am terribly sorry that my blog is devoid of new blog posts recently.

Reasons:
1. Assignment 2 for Mechanics
2. Assignment 2 for Engineering Design
3. Computing lab test
4. Electronics lab
5. Engineering Design practical work (Isometric drawing)
6. Sleep
7. Eat
8. Play

There you go! =D The first 5 is more troublesome to complete... Hmmm... hope to finish 5 by tonight and get some 6 too. Lol.

is the utmost important! Whee hoo!!! Hahaha.

Bloody Cool! =D

Hey hey! This is the first time I've updated so quickly about an event. =D

Today marks a historic day... I donated blood for the 1st time in my life!!! Woohoo! =D

I was bugging my dear since yesterday to donate blood together with me at the National Blood Bank booth in Uni. And after much persuasion and a little bit of dragging, I managed to convince her! Wheee~ So happy so happy. Hahahaha. At least I won't have to do it alone. XD

Anyway, me and dear June was at the blood donation booth area at around 3pm to donate our blood... for the first time (for both of us). So... I went first and it wasn't very painful actually. Haha. Before you know it, the needle is already inside and channeling the blood into a plastic bag. I must admit that I felt so relieved when it didn't hurt as much as I've expected. The needle looks so big! hahaha. Soon, Ann June got her needle inserted too and was also very relieved. Haha.

Donating blood makes people HIGH! Me and dear was laughing away and joking throughout the session and I was wondering if we were too loud and animated that it will disturb the nurses there. Haha. Oh well, sorry if I did. =p Anyway, the whole procedure came and went and before we know it, the bag was full of blood and we're ready to get the needles out already.

I was expecting more pain when they take the needle out 'cause there might be no more anesthetics at my arm. Luckily the nurse was very skillfull and I managed to 'distract' myself so it felt fine. Not to mention that dearie was really cool about it too. Hehe. So proud of you. =D

Anyway, pictures time! =D
It was a very fun experience to donate blood for the first time. I feel lighter already! Hahaha. Anyway, please do go donate blood if you are fit enough and have a kind heart. =D
I'm so proud of you dearie! Hehehe.

Special mention: Our friend Ms. Kit Yee gracefully donated her blood too. Donating for the 1st time too, she became a dizzy cat after the donation. Hahaha. Picture of her before the needle was 'poked' in:
Cheers! XD

I am a pig on Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day...

to every mum in the world... Especially my mum. =D
Want to thank her for being loving, supportive and pretty much everything a mother would be.

But I am such a pig this morning and now mummy is mad at me. T_T

Obligatory update

This Friday is the Friday that I spent least time in Uni for the past...few weeks? month? Not sure.
It is very lucky that our computing lab is somewhat easier today... Some introductory stuff to PLC. And not to mention that we managed to "finish" the Engineering Design practical work in an hour.

yawnz... Such is uni life.

I have a feeling that I am going to miss university life when I come out to work next time. In fact, I'm 99% certain that I would. It is relatively carefree (fortunately) and provides a lot of satisfaction when our projects/ labs succeed. Also, failure would not lead to total destruction of our lives and the crumbling of our future career... Everything is relatively safe here.

Anyway, I shall not bored you readers with the rantings of a tired and lazy mind. XD
Life in uni this week have been relatively uneventful compared to the hectic schedule of last week. Nevertheless, it's fun. =D Going to play badminton tomorrow at MPSJ hall with friends! Yeay.

Here's 9000 words for you my dear,

Holiday!

I am going to Italy middle this year. Yeay!
Booked the tickets already...
Now hoping that the Oink flu won't spread. *fingers crossed*
