Dear all, as the final exams are coming very very soon (1st of November), there will be a short hiatus in my blog as i will TRY to tweak and tune every part of my anatomy in touch with the exams mood, unfortunately... haha.
Exams will be going on until the 15th of November, which is the last day for all subjects, which means that i will be among the few remaining students in MUFY that had to carry the exams spirits while many others have already started their celebration, partying, etc. (Double sigh...)
Nevertheless, i want to wish everyone in MUFY good luck and have fun studying and taking your exams! Oh, and take care of your health! Do NOT fall sick like Ivan aka Mr. Royaldishy.
P.S. Meanwhile, do check out this interesting site with funny comics! http://www.explosm.net/
WARNING: May contain provoking statements and un-children-friendly language. Not suitable for people who cannot take lame jokes.
P.P.S. Specially to my dear June, don't stress too much ah! 加油 studying and you can do it! =D
Of alcohol, water & tea
Should've went to play badminton today. (Pretty strange title and starting huh?)
Took a nap, woke up at 6.30pm and remembered that i'm suppose to go and play badminton with my dad at 7pm. Went to his study and saw him resting, not feeling well. Canceled the booking and went downstairs for dinner.
Alcohol. Excessive consuming of alcohol leads to drunkenness. It is not up to me to judge the justification and reasoning for anyone's drinking. However, the fact that too much alcohol consumed, have undeniable debilitating effects on the body and mind. "Impairs judgement", says Wikipedia. The issue that i'm more concerned of is: Why drink so much. It is not unprecedented neither it is frequent. Makes people worry and concerned and fill their minds with anxious-ness of such intensity that makes one want to cry out loud "Why??"
Tea. Green tea. Warm. Such calming effects it has on one's body and mind. The refined taste warming the taste buds, then caressing the throat as it went down the chasm. I made one thermos full of it hoping to be able to help the recovery but it was not necessary. One thermos full offered and so it returned, a thermos full. Hope the mere presence of it helps though. Nevermind, drank it anyway. Taste good! =D
Water! On a lighter note, water is the essential component of life...bla bla bla... Elementary Science 101... Haha! I realised that i drank more water when i'm bored! Not bad huh? Or when i'm playing computer or studying (I think this ranks under boredom too, haha!). More than 70% of the human body is made up of water! Yay! So we won't die of thirst when we are travelling with someone else! Haha! Just joking =p. One more thing! Water is also important when YOU are having diarrhoea (Pronounced: Die-hor-eea. Still remember this, Qin? Haha!). It replenishes water in your body. Get well soon and drink more water oo June!

End of Trials ^^V // Racial Discrimination?
Yay!! Finally the end of trials! However, a more disturbing future looms ahead as the Finals approaches slowly but steadily...until it finally engulf us with the familiar moodiness and the panic feeling which occurs whenever there's an exam. Oh well, better enjoy the rest now =D.
Looking back at my trials week, i was kind of suprised at my odd confidence and lack of panic-ness. Haha. I don't really know how to place this but i felt that there's less to study in MUFY compared to secondary school. Aren't they suppose to prepare us for university? Haha. Maybe i'm easily contented. I don't know? However, i shall not make it sound like i'm bragging 'cause i really DID study occasionally when i feel the need to. Oh! One good thing about Pre-U is that they have topic tests! I like it 'cause it makes you study for it and really know the topic. Haha. Yeap! That's about it!

Now, moving on to my next topic! Haha! A more serious issue that has been around since dunno when...
Racial discrimination! Okay, lets break this down and focus solely on the issue of the African people in Malaysia instead of Chinese being systematically discriminated in Malaysia ok? I don't want to get caught by the ISA. Haha. So...
Well, recently, the community hyped up the issue about the Africans residing in our country, which the story had been fueled by the papers and the recent crimes in our country. The question is, are they really a threat to the community's security and safety or are we only generalizing just because there is some of them being involved in some petty crime or maybe some more serious crime (I don't know).
However, in my opinion, i feel that most of the people's view on the "black" people are skewed by the image of the black people potrayed in medias. On top of that, i feel that people are afraid of what they don't understand and what they don't know, which i think is quite true. Therefore, that leads to the misunderstandings and the fear of the Africans experienced by the locals.
Seriously, we are over generalizing. Most of the Africans i knew in college are OK and nice. Definitely not criminals type or those who creates havoc in a community. Some of them are even better and more helpful than the locals i knew. They are just the same as us, only with different skin colours, beliefs and culture. It all boils down to their upbringing again.
So, lets all get to know the real person underneath the skin before we make a judgement on them ok? Some are here only to make an honest living and we shall welcome them with our warm and famed hospitality, shouldn't we?
