Not-So-Minor Update Afterall~

Yes, it's been a while since I updated my blog. Compared to my sister, Chu Jie, I'm as slow as a tortoise carrying a 10kg load, wading through thick mud. ><"

Just a minor update on the events for the past week or more... The 12th General Election concluded in a huge shock for both BN and the Oppositions. As most of you would have known by now, the Oppositions took the state ruling right for 5 states. Wow? Kind of interesting to see those big shots in BN getting defeated by fresh faces of the Oppositions in the polls. Stayed up to about 2am to catch all the action LIVE. Haha.

After the elections, there's a few squabbles over the MB posts in some states (I didn't follow up on it). So, the results have been out today and in the end the Sultan won (indirectly) at choosing the MB. Normally, the Sultans picks the MBs from the list provided by the ruling party. However, this time, the Sultan stood adamant at his choice of MB. Weird? I sense something fishy. Haha.

Hmm...Uni life is OK... Lectures are getting quite boring and kept fishing in it... T_T Evidently, physics related stuff is not my cup of tea, nor piece of cake. Sigh...looks like I've got to psycho myself to like the subjects... *I like dynamics... I like Physics... I like dynamics... I like Physics...* =_=" Besides that, mathematics lectures aren't all too interesting too. Luckily I liked math and am still able to catch up with it. *phew* Many thanks to Misses Hue, my tuition teacher, Ms. Lee, MUFY Math B lecturer, Ms. Pang, MUFY Math A lecturer and Pn. Lam, my form 4-5 Add Math teacher for giving me such a good basics in Math. Tyty.

Oh wait, did I mention that one of our entertainment in lectures is to take pictures of people falling asleep? Haha. Here's one pic: oh wait...Kit Yee will kill me. Haha. Better not post a pic of hers. XD

Moving on, my phone's acting up these few days... T_T Couldn't detect the sim-card and the whole screen went blank. Sigh... Bugs bugs bugs. Apparently it happens to other phones too, even if it's new. Bugs bugs bugs. Watodo.

So, thus ends my update for today! I can't wait to read the newspaper tomorrow for the list of cabinet members! (Didnt catch the news today). But it seems that Rafidah didn't get a post. Oo. Interesting. Remember the AP issue last time? When she cried and stuff? Hmm...not sure. Anyway, have a nice day ahead everyone! Thanks for reading (If you did!). Haha.

P.S. Here's a cute picture. =D

Tadahh! Hehe. That's for not updating your blog! XD

Yeay! Got my new car!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, citizens of the web and all that is seeing this... I present to you... my NEW car!!! Ta dahhhhhhh!!!

It's a brand new Myvi!!! Yeay! =D

It's already evening when I took the pictures and please forgive me for the dark lighting. Hehe. Roughly around 4pm, my dad drove me to the dealer's shop to pick up the car at New Town (MBPJ there). Well, the drive home is a little scary because I am just getting use to the car and I am not familiar with the road. However, I managed to follow my dad's car until i reach home safely. Evidently. =D

Now, let's talk about the car! The car's exterior and interior is quite good. Built quality is superior to most of the other Perodua cars and is quite spacious inside. =) Well, because mine is the Standard spec Myvi, it does not come with airbags and ABS system. So, gotta drive extra careful! Haha. Seats are cloth covered and the rear seats are foldable for extra boot space...really big. =D Furthermore, a plastic tray is provided for the boot so that anything wet won't mess up the carpet.

Moving on to the overall driver's feel of the car... First, starting the car is smooth and quick, mirrors can be adjusted electronically but a little too quick at the adjusting. Signals and wipers feels OK, the touch of the gear is reassuring, unlike the one's in Viva and Kenari, which are longer and uses hard plastic... Myvi's gear knob feels softer. Hand brake is similar to the gear knob. Furthermore, seat is comfortable for the car, not too low or too high. Of course, you can't compare Myvi's seat to Toyota(s) or other more expensive makes. The pedals are OK, brakes a lil stiff and needs getting used to, and accelerator is a little soft and low. Overall, the feel is quite good.

Now! Driving the car! =D Engine sounds OK, braking distances are fine, steering is a little stiff but overall is OK. However, the car revs too much when the accelerator is pressed just a little more. It's probably better if it's tuned to change gears faster rather than having the engine revving until around 2-3000 rpm and yet to change gears. Thus, because of this, the acceleration of the car wasn't really good and lacks responsiveness. This will probably affect the confidence of the driver on the car when overtaking, and also increases fuel consumption... Note to self: Ask the mechanics to tune it properly when servicing the car.

Anyway, I'm really really really really glad that I am having my own car and Thanks so so so so much to my parents! =D Now must work harder to upgrade my scholarship to 100% if not, maintaining it. Oh well, I think most of you are already bored after reading so much of my comments on the car...I think I shall stop here, and go to bathe! =D That's all for now! Have a nice day/night everyone! And again, Thank you, Mummy & Daddy. =)

P.S. Gonna drive to Uni tomorrow! =D

Minor Update =p

Haven't been updating for quite a while since the last post...(obviously)...so, this is a minor update the fill the long gap to another long post. =)

So, what happened lately was the Sunway Open Badminton Tournament held in SyUC. So, I decided to join since earlier this year and so i did, and then i lost. It was fun though, partnering with Wei Keat, my Uni/College friend and playing singles too. Met Erwin (Indonesian guy who's in Sunway MAPCU team last year with me) in the first round of singles. It was a very close match between the both of us and we played until the rubber set and ended up in a deuce. One thing i must mention though, is the poor quality of the shuttle...which contributed to alot of out(s) in the game. =( That's all about Sunway Open.

Anyway, for those who haven't know, I'm getting a NEW car!!! White Myvi, 1.3L, Standard. Yeay! =D Thanks to my dad and mum! =)
