Wendy's failed to impress while Wall-E does

Ladies and gentlemen, this will be a post about the outing on Friday evening to watch Wall-E.

In a nutshell, Wall-E is a fantastic movie. Definitely worth watching. Pixar's movies are always a joy to watch as the story is simple but meaningful and the animation heavy but very fluid. Basically, Wall-E is a movie that opens our eyes to various possibilities and the change that one can bring to the world. With the excellent storyline and impeccable delivery, Wall-E IS the show to watch this Summer. Personally, I think Wall-E beats Dark Knight in a number of aspects despite the enormous hype around the latter (mostly due to the passing of Heath Ledger). To me, Wall-E is different in a very unique way. Though there's certain parts i feel that is quite cliche (such as the run and chase part). Besides that, I think it's a very good movie and worth watching again. Rating: 9/10.

After that, we went searching for food after the movie. Stood in front of Hartz flipping coins to decide whether to eat there or not. Heads for Hartz and Tails for no Hartz. That darned coin kept showing Heads but everyone seems to want another flip. Haha. So in the end we went to Wendy's for food. -_-"

Turns out Wendy's is quite disappointing actually. Food is priced at above average (RM9.99+ for the cheapest medium set) and the drinks are non-refillable. I ordered a 1/2 pound burger that comes with a medium set. Burger's a lil bigger than McD's Big Mac. However, the beef patty is just 2 pieces of THIN minced beef (or is it not beef?). Such a disappointment. Even McD's patty is thicker than it! Though they sort of make it up with rather fresh onions, salad vege and cold mayo in the burger. Even so, the burger wasn't anything worth to shout about (disappointment...). Unlike Carl's Jr., they failed to deliver the rich and full feeling when you sink your teeth into the burger. The patty grew cold in a rather short time (due to the meagre thickness) and it felt like there's nothing to chew! An additional note: They don't have much choices of burger. Many are only size variations of the same burger.

Thus, the verdict: Wendy's failed to impress either me or June. Having tried Carl's Jr., Wendy's is definitely a class below, thus, unfair to compare with. In relative to a closer opponent, McDonalds, Wendy's is more pricey than the former but delivers a slightly bigger portion (not taste) but less variety. In conclusion, I think Wendy's is NOT worth the money. Rating: 6/10.
