Mr. President

It was shocking, abrupt, and deeply saddening...

Today we all had lost a great friend, a great leader, a great man...
He is a man with a character no one can change; a man with silly acts but held his responsibility high; a man who brought smiles, laughter and good memories to anyone that he's come together with...
*****
Here, I would like to say good bye to you, my friend... Our friendship only started about 2 years ago, yet it felt as if I've lost a friend that I've known for my entire life. Why? That's because you are you. You make everyone felt important, you make everyone your friend even if you knew them for 1 minute. That's not something that everyone can do...
I still remember how you entertain us with your acts and jokes, often laughing at yourself. With you, there's only happy and funny moments...
Perhaps, not one word can fully define you, as you define yourself with your own ways...
We wished and prayed for your recovery... But it wasn't enough...

To my dear friend, Choo Jian Yi - Mr. President... I thank you so much for all that you've done for us, and all the wonderful memories that will be with us forever. Remember, our friendship does not end here, for you lived on in everyone's memory. Rest In Peace.

Fail

Hello people, sorry for the long overdue post. Been lacking of materials to write about until today. Haha.

I'm quite sure that many of you are aware of the 'cow head' incident that happened not too long ago. Yes, I'm talking about the Shah Alam Hindi temple relocation protest where someone brought along a severed cow head.

Since then, many people have been protesting against the protest, calling for action to be taken on the person, petitioned against it, etc. etc. But is there any news about the arrest of the guy who led the protest? Not that I've heard of anyway. Photos were taken, cops were there, racial slurs were obvious, but no arrests? Wth? On the other hand, the candlelight vigil that happened yesterday near Central Market whereby the Indian protesters held unlit candles and roses saw 16 arrests by the police. Double wth.

Let me illustrated this in a simple table. Maybe this will make it into the failblog. Hahaha.Well, anyone can clearly see now, that giving fiery racial speeches, carrying a bloody cow head can grant you immunity against police arrests. Wow. Why haven't anyone thought of that in the first place? My point is, this double standard in Malaysia cannot be tolerated. I support 1Malaysia where the rakyat is supposed to live in harmony and peace and tolerance with each other. But the case above is just sad. Plain sad. Did our prime minister spoke out about this? He who pioneered the 1Malaysia concept, let this shameful act happen under his nose. Too small of a matter to take action? I don't think so.

Anyway, I just read that the protesters of the relocation claim that the area at Shah Alam are populated by majority of Muslim Malays. That's why they do not want the Hindu temple to be there. *pause*......*pause again*......*crick-crick*...... now...WTH??? What kind of excuse is this??? Will the temple be an obstruction to the community? No. An eyesore? No. Making loud noises in wee hours in the morning? No. Disrupt the faith of the people there? No. So what's the problem??? Majority malay here lah... Cannot pindah here. =_="

Argh... Can we ever really achieve the targets, visions and objectives of 1Malaysia? With these racial extremist in our country, political bickering, corruption issues, etc. When will the government ever give hope to us young Malaysians that Malaysia is a good country to stay in, a country that you can invest in, a country that we would love to live in not only because of the food.

I think, if we would finally achieve all of that, would be when all political parties are gone, all religions forgotten, and everyone being colour blind.
